Our Mission
Supporting child sexual abuse/adult sexual abuse survivors with therapy funds and educating for safe spaces with care and compassion.
Support for Survivors of CSA/SA
United Open Arms is able to provide therapy funding for sexual abuse survivors in the United States and elsewhere in world.
UOA uses a confidential process to protect the privacy of survivors seeking therapy funds and the privacy of donors wishing to provide financial assistance.
Survivors who have a licensed therapist can call the UOA Therapy Helpline at 1-888-564-3073 (international rates may apply). An English-speaking, trauma-informed RAINN professional will take your call and assist you in determining eligibility for funding.
The UOA Therapy Helpline is available Monday-Friday from 9am to 7pm Eastern time. It is closed all major US holidays and between Christmas and New Year’s.
Survivors who need a licensed therapist can contact Pathways to Healing Network by sending an email in English or Spanish to support@pathways2healing.org. Pathways to Healing Network will connect you with a credentialed, trauma-informed therapist who can provide safe, confidential help.
Survivors who are qualified by RAINN or by Pathways to Healing Network will be referred to UOA’s third-party administrator to set up payments to your therapist.
The UOA Therapy Helpline does not investigate abuse allegations or provide crisis intervention. For crisis intervention and general information and resources, available 24/7, contact RAINN’s National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) or at https://rainn.org. RAINN is a mandatory reporter, meaning that if a caller discloses identifying information concerning the abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, a report will need to be made to local authorities.
